Circles Publishing aims to explore the earth's systems and cycles (its circles) in an interesting and engaging way for children (and adults). By bringing together the arts and the sciences, the independent label developed by author/artist/environmental scientist Meg Humphrys provides a useful narrative for any home or classroom.

ABOUT the author/artist
Meg Humphrys
Meg has worked as a geologist, managing groundwater in the Murray Darling Basin and in urban water and wastewater management, integrated water management, climate change and sustainability fields for water utilities and a peak water advisory body.
Meg is currently working in local government managing policy and strategy across environment portfolios- covering circular economy, climate change, integrated water management and natural environment.​ Meg draws inspiration from her work in the environment fields, together with art and story, aiming to build connection. Meg lives on Millowl (Phillip Island), Victoria with her family.
Education:
Science Degree with Honours - University of Tasmania, major geology, minor environmental science.
Graduate Certificate in Integrated Water Management, International Water Centre, University of Queensland.

Fellow of the Peter Cullen Trust - Science to Policy Leadership Program.
